Another Beach with Fossils.

The rocks on the beach actually wrap around the corner and are fairly high up on the bank, just covered in green right now.
This site is not nearly as good as the other beach, but that one is getting picked over pretty good.
I have found horn coral, brachs, and worn recepts here.
BEWARE! The green you see is mostly swamp and burning nettles! Wear clothes over your entire body, socks and shoes! Mosquitoes are rampant, but the fishing is good.

I would not class this as a kids hunt because of all the nettle and the beach at times dives into the creek – easy to fall into…
You can’t miss it from west to east as you first come to the huge road cut with Stewartville and Prosser on both sides, then Dream Acres – which usually serves wood fired pizza very Friday night during the summer (picnic-style, bring your own utensils and meat if you want it).
