This was an unexpected and fascinating find because I found it as I was laying a rock path in front of my home from 100+ year old barn foundation stone. One of the rocks splintered into layers as I laid it and was very heavily fossilized including this Conulariid! The barn was from just east of Wykoff, which is a very heavily fossilized area.
