The Healing Properties of Pyrite

I have some pyritized marine coprolite that was too heavy for earrings and too heavy for a necklace. So I put the pieces in a plastic baggy and gave them a wap with my hammer. Wow, very brittle! So now the small pieces were too small.
I know that silicone caulk will hold rocks together when practically nothing else I have tried will. So I dabbed some silicone onto some post earring finds and rolled it in the pyrite. Then I stuck them into a candle to dry. After they dried, I coated them with clear fingernail polish to prevent possible flaking off. This is the result after curing overnight.
I’m wearing a pair right now and am very pleased with the simple elegance of them.
Having had a couple of strokes, perhaps the healing properties of pyrite can help – can’t hurt. 😀
